Elon Musk unveils the ‘real built-tough’ Tesla Cybertruck, starting at $39,900
At last, the unusual cyberpunk, Blade Runner style Tesla Cybertruck from the future has been unveiled by the ambitious and a dreamer CEO Elon Musk — it is the ‘real built-tough’ truck as demonstrated in the live stream video by Tesla.
Although Tesla has taken down the live stream video, for now, the company might re-upload it with some edits but we have a few screenshots below — undoubtedly this was the most hyped automotive event of the year and Tesla fans are not disappointed at the end.
As promised, the Tesla Cybertruck is nothing like which is available on the market today, hard lines but aerodynamic, a large truck with a light-slit type LED headlights across the frunk, the bed has a cover that is power-open and close with a button and is around 6.5 ft in length, enough to carry a dirt bike or ATV and even charge it.

Built-Tough for Real!
Elon Musk and Tesla Chief Design demonstrated that how far the toughness is built into the Cybertruck, it’s hardcore beyond anything that is into production today, Tesla has developed ‘ultra-hard 30x cold-rolled stainless steel alloy‘ to build the body of the truck and it can bear the sledgehammer hits, yeah Franz did hit it a couple times and not even a dent, insurance costs will go down drastically on this one.
According to Elon Musk’s presentation, a 9MM bullet cannot penetrate the body of the Tesla Cybertruck. Tesla also showed the demonstration of the proprietary Cybertruck glass that can take some hard-hitting as well (glass testing failed due to scientific reasons).
Pricing, Variants, Range, Towing Capacity
Tesla is offering three variants of the Tesla Cybertruck: Single Motor, Dual Motor, and Tri-Motor Plaid and the pricing is pretty affordable, you can either buy a Tesla Model 3 Standard Range Plus or the base Cybertruck variant (see table below for detailed pricing and data).
The thing to note down is that the Tri-Motor Cybertruck variant is expected to go into production late 2022.
