Tesla Roadster can go from 0-60 before you can read this headline (video)

Tesla Inc. just posted a teaser video on their official Twitter and Instagram account showing the Next-gen Tesla Roadster doing a 0-60 mph run — Tesla claims before you could finish reading the caption of the tweet, the car would’ve done it already.

Although the video clip (below) is 4 seconds long, Tesla says that Roadster passed 60mph halfway through the clip.

2020 Tesla Roadster’s performance has impressed extreme car enthusiasts like Jay Leno and several others at the Tesla Semi and Roadster unveil event where participants took test rides to experience the super ludicrous mode.

In addition to Formula One level 0-60 mph, the next-generation Tesla Roadster is bound to deliver a 621 miles (~1000 km) of range, the first one to achieve this milestone for a production electric vehicle.

Let’s watch the Tesla Roadster perform the claimed 0-60!

Pretty impressive! Tesla aims to get this powerful electric beast to production sometime at the end of 2020, they already have pre-orders for the car in addition to 80+ Founders Series Tesla Roadsters they need to give out to the previous referral program winners.

Tesla Roadster’s insane acceleration was caught on camera at the Tesla Semi unveil event when Tesla’s Chief Designer Franz Von Holzhausen left the evening in the Roadster, a CGI artist edited the video and gave it the touch of the movie Back To The Future.

A while ago Elon Musk announced there will be an optional Tesla Roadster SpaceX package, enabling the car to hover like the flying DeLorean from Back To The Future, with a base price of $200,000 ($250,000 for Founders edition) the package included will still be a bargain compared to the prices of existing ICE hypercars.
