Porsche Taycan European Premiere on the 24 Hours of Le Mans Race Track

Last week Porsche AG released a video on its official YouTube channel that shows the Porsche Taycan giving a visit to the 24 Hours of Le Mans race track, according to Porsche this was the car’s European Premiere.

Porsche has a legacy of more than 7 decades of motorsports and the company’s recently unveiled Taycan all-electric sports car carries that in its DNA, first, the Taycan set a record at the Nurburgring, now it visited the toughest race terrain, the ‘24 Hours of Le Mans‘ but not for testing this time.

Maybe next year Porsche will actually try to test it at the Le Mans which is happening on 13th and 14th June, but the intentions are not yet clear.

This is just a teaser video from Porsche that successfully stimulates a car enthusiasts racing instincts, with the Taycan’s electric powertrain capable of unheard acceleration times, Le Mans could be more thrilling than normal.

Although Tesla CEO Elon Musk criticized Porsche for using the term ‘Turbo’ in the name of the car but this was needed for obvious reasons, Porsche need to keep their fan-base intact.

Porsche has released some cool photogrphs of the Taycan Turbo in the unique Mamba Green Metallic color you can check out in the gallery below, Mamba yeah that’s a snake and the color truly reflects its name, it does look like a green mamba skin.
