Possibly a Tesla Semi Truck in driver-less mode (Autopilot)

Video of possibly a self-driving Tesla Semi Truck cruising the California 101 emerges

The latest video of the Tesla Semi Truck prototype has shocked everyone as well as us, looking at the video, again and again, strengthens the possibility of a driver not present while the truck was cruising on the California 101 highway.

The video is shot by @spenceyou in his side rearview mirror, of the approaching Tesla Semi silver prototype, as silent as a semi-truck may ever be, something shocking is also felt, maybe the driver’s seat is empty.

Let’s watch the video that has started an infinite discussion of driver present or not across the entire social media sphere (YouTube version with a repeated loop added down below).

According to some, the two dots or black circles we see above the steering wheel are not the driver’s sunglasses rather they are something like the wipers or stains on the windscreen, I have therefore tried to use my Photoshop ninjitsu on the pic and tried to expose what I could in the picture below.

The Tesla Semi Truck is equipped with at least 26 cameras in various locations which means this giant electric vehicle is fully capable of using Autopilot/Full Self-Driving features of the Tesla software, maybe even more than the Tesla Model 3, S or X!

Because the production timeline of the Semi Trucks along with the Roadster and Model Y is getting close every day, the Silicon Valley-based automaker might have started extensive testing of the Semi-Truck with Autopilot/FSD features, and the driver might have taken a few seconds off the seat? It doesn’t look like to be the case, however, one thing is for sure, there are no hands on the steering wheel.

Even with the brightness levels adjusted to remove shadows a whole human being is still not visible on the Tesla Semi’s driver seat, maybe a ghost rider but who knows.

Tesla has recently been extensively testing their Semi Truck prototypes as car carriers, a few months ago Tesla even delivered a few vehicles to a lucky few new owners in the Tesla Semi truck to increase the wow factor by at least a 100, it’s double the happiness for true Tesla fans, enthusiasts and mission-oriented customers.

Let’s watch the loopy video of the Tesla Semi Truck approaching from behind on the highway and try to spot the humanoid driving it, otherwise it’s Autopilot for sure.

Right as it gets to the end of the mirror’s view you can see the reflection of a pair of sunglasses… there is someone in the truck.

No, that is clearly two suction cups holding something on the inside of the windshield. Remember, the driver seat for the Tesla Semi is in the CENTER, not the left of the cab.
