A new Tesla Semi Truck spotting of the silver prototype which is the 500 mile variant of the two prototypes usually seen with or without cargo.

Gytahnna Loffgren shared a few pictures (below) of the same Tesla Semi probably heading back towards the Gigafactory after a successful delivery trip.

This time the Tesla Semi was seen with a bobtail meaning there was no trailer attached to the long-hauler — the bobtail of the Tesla Semi consists of four Tesla Model 3 electric motors that enable the Tesla Semi achieve a 0-60 mph speed in just seconds with 80,000 lbs load.

Against all speculation the all electric Tesla Semi Truck is seen several times towing the loaded trailer with ease and the on-ramp performance has also been greatly demonstrated in these videos.

Currently it seems that the prototype Tesla Semi trucks are using the existing Tesla Superchargers for their charging needs as seen in the below video and also in some other spottings.

Tesla Semi has a different charge port called the ‘Megacharger port’ referring to a more powerful charger in works by Tesla that will be available for the Semi customers at their business facilities and most probably at Supercharger locations as well.

At the time of this writing there has been 603 total Tesla Semi Trucks reservations as per publicly available information, we have put together a Tesla Semi order tracking page for detailed data for each order, it’s customer and related news source.

We can see that the Tesla Semi all-electric truck is pulling a trailer loaded with Model 3 battery packs quite effortlessly and according to the video author ‘Only noise was the airbrakes!’
