Tesla Model 3 spotted on the test track with new wheels

Tesla Model 3 spotted while testing at Fremont Factory

It was only by chance that Andrew Batiuk took a leap towards the Tesla Fremont factory and saw a Model 3 with an open frunk waiting for assistance. Soon after a red Model S appears with more tools and two technicians seem to be fixing something from above the frunk.

All set to go in after being fixed, Model 3 takes a couple of test runs on the track and leaves the facility but only to be chased by Batiuk and company to a secret Tesla testing property seemingly a few blocks away from the test track. This secret facility also had 20 unfinished superchargers lying around in the parking lot according to the videographer.

We also see Model 3 with new wheels (photo below) that some are referring to as ‘aero wheels’. These new wheels honestly don’t go with the look of the Model 3, we hope these are just equipped on the release candidate test cars. Previously the ‘aero wheels’ offered for Model S had been discontinued due to low interest by the customers and these ones are not so good either.

By far this is the best spy video (below) we have seen of a Model 3 and that showing it running on a test track. You can browse all spy videos and photos here until Tesla finally unveils the production car in July.
