Tesla Model 3 is now eligible for a lavish $14,000 EV incentive in Ontario, Canada

People from Ontario were anxiously waiting for the $14,000 CAD incentive for Tesla Model 3 and calling the Govt. department for their answer — the reply they got was Tesla Inc. has applied for the incentive program and the proper steps are in progress.

At last the prayers are heard as Tesla is planning to ship significant number of Model 3s to Canada before they hit 200,000 vehicles delivered in the United States and the end user loses the $7,500 Federal tax credit.

Government of Ontario is offering Electric and Hydrogen powered vehicles incentives from $5,000 to $14,000 CAD depending on the type of vehicle and it’s price (MSRP).

Tesla Model S and X got removed from the program last month as the policy renewal does not offer the incentive to vehicles of MSRP CA $75,000 and above.
