Earth Day Special – 15000 KMs Cross Canada Trip On An Electric Car The Tesla Model X

So tomorrow is the prestigious Earth Day and Tesla/Elon Musk have a special connection to Mother Earth in their efforts to revive what we have lost or damaged already.
The war against the forces still not realizing the fact that we have reached a point from where we can see our doom ahead very clearly
CO2 emissions have taken a great toll on the entire planet specially the developed or more industrialized countries. We can see in the following interactive map for each country’s CO2 emission levels.
We can clearly see there is an urgent need for collective efforts in order to cool down the monster of pollution that is getting out of hands.
This situation has greatly contributed to the global warming phenomenon as we can see in the graph below. Every year we are hitting a new threshold of heat index, specially the last three decades have been trending only upwards.
2017 has hit a new high of 1.657 degrees celcius monthly anomaly and according to Scientific American we have breached the 410 PPM threshold for the first time in millions of years, that should be worrying enough for the entire human race.
This means a need has emerged that hasn’t been there in a few million years at least. The answer to this would be practically adopting ways of business and lifestyle to cool down the heat and CO2 emission indexes.
Luckily we now have Elon Musk and his Tesla Motors with their passionate customers and fans sometimes referred to as ‘members of a cult’. This cult believes that we should be abandoning the ICE vehicles altogether in favor of the zero-emission Electric Vehicles to save the dear Planet Earth.
So two of the ‘cult members’ from Canada performed a great feat by going West to East and beyond totaling a journey of ~15,000 kilometers.
Rolf and Silke, Husbanda & Wife, life partners, travel partners and believers of ‘sustainability’ in it’s practical form took their Tesla Model X along with a camping trailer on a 3 month adventure in 2016. Their camping trailer have solar panels on it’s roof to create needed energy while day traveling or staying idle in the sun.
But on Earth Day they are giving a presentation about their 15,000 km travel experience in an electric car. The venue is Royal BC Museum, 675 Belleville Street (Click here for Google Map) on Saturday 22 April 2017. You can also catch them on Twitter @TeslaXCanada for any further query in this regard.
We have attached their flyer for the event below for reference. We at X Auto believe in such journeys and appreciate them on this adventure and an attempt at spreading awareness of living green.
Let’s celebrate Earth Day this year with practical efforts towards the future of our coming generations.
