The Last Ever Lancer Evolution Auctioned at $76,400 for Charity

Mitsubishi Motors is closing production of it’s legendary sports sedan Lancer Evolution in North America. Only 1600 vehicles were produced for the last ever batch of the Evo. The 1600th car of the series was up for auction at eBay which closed Sep 15th, 2016 for the winning bid of $76,400.

The earnings from the auction are going to be donated 50% each to Feeding America Riverside / San Bernardino and the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County. This is off-course a great gesture for humanity by Mitsubishi Motors and we heartily appreciate it.

Every vehicle of the series has a special Final Edition Badge with the vehicle number on it. The instrument cluster also contains the Final Edition words. The aluminium roof is painted in black which at first gave me the look of the panoramic roof. The all-black interior is stitched in red gives more sporty feel inside.

This rare beast is equipped with 303 hp & 305 lb-ft of torque and proves to be the most powerful stock Evo ever. With 18″ Enkei alloy wheels and Yokohama Advan A13c tyres you’ll not need to look elsewhere for rims & tyres.
